Saving Igbo Language from Extinction, Ugochi Onyewu

Over a decade ago Ugochi Onyewu read an article from UNESCO  which is The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.  The article listed languages that will be extinct by 2050.  

Ugochi Onyewu is proud to be Nigerian.  Unfortunately the language of Igbo is on this list.  Ugochi is Igbo.  The Igbo culture is located in Nigeria.  

She says to embrace whom you are wherever you find yourself.  Be proud and celebrate whom you are.  Ugochi Onyewu embraces her culture of Igbo.  In fact, she is trying to save her language.  Take a listen.
