It's Kat Katherine here with your Positive Imprint podcast, and I have to apologize for my hiatus, my very unplanned hiatus in May.

But as I say, a very unplanned event occurred.

We lost our dog Maka of over 18 years.

Catherine: 00:01:39

She just fell into unconsciousness on May 1st, and well, my husband and I, we just could not wake her up.

Catherine: 00:01:47

So, of course I went through a grieving process and mourning, and then there's the cleaning out of cabinets, the dog food, the dog toys, just, well, everything that goes along with it.

But there are so many fabulous stories about Maka and our family pets, and I'm going to talk to you about that in just a moment.

Well, I'm sitting here as you can hear, the mountains.

You can't hear the mountains, but you can hear the stream.

I'm here in the mountains , after the snow has melted so that we could get through with our mountain bikes.

And I'm here, of course, with my husband and with Bonny and Mike and their little dog Cooper.

We are just so much enjoying mountain biking and hiking, and it's such a great place to contemplate life and the fabulous positive imprints that have inspired all of us throughout all of our lives.
