Ocean Plastic Solutions – Sea Monkey Project
It’s huge and it needs to be removed.
Sea life is not under water but under the threat of death.
The Sea Monkeys, fortunately, inform the world about ways to clean ocean plastic pollution.
Believe it or not there are still communities who are not informed. They don’t know that throwing plastic bags into the ocean can be a death sentence for turtles and other sea life. Not to mention that in hundreds of years that plastic will still exist as micro plastic. Micro means small but the threat is still huge!
There are ocean plastic solutions.
Meet members of the Sea Monkey Project which is a family of four. Carlos, Sarah, Sydney and Indi. They sail and also live aboard their 41 foot yacht.
Sea Monkey Project cleans plastic pollution and provides ocean plastic solutions.
Sydney Steenland sees the world through her projects. Her passion is to prevent more death and destruction through ocean plastic solutions. She is 14.
Carlos, skipper and Sydney’s dad says that ocean life and other wildlife don’t have a choice. They are just stuck with what we do. He is an inventor and provides his ocean plastic solution.
Sarah, Sydney’s mom, is a cartoon artist. She creates visual materials in order to educate others. Through Sarah’s work, people globally are informed about ocean plastic pollution. Every problem also has a solution.
Indi Steenland is 11 years old and sorts plastics for shredding. He knows all seven categories of plastic and is able to teach others too.
Listen to Sydney, Carlos, Sarah, and Indi share their positive imprints. They are part of the solution concerning ocean plastic solutions.
