To manage his PTSD, he turned to writing therapy, using it as a means to share his experiences and explore storytelling. He has published two novels: “Prisoners of War”, an historical fiction romance, and “Gritty, Grisly and Greedy Stories Inspired by True Crooks and Crimes from My 20 Years as a Fed”. His latest book is “Spirit Lake Payback”.
