Espen Lysø lives in Malvik, Norway which is close to the fjords. The fjords are beautiful.
He tries to visualize for people on Instagram that it’s not difficult to go in the outdoors. He is on a mission to tell people that you can make it outdoors even with this lifestyle of work; a job. You don’t need to be a full-time adventurer in order to have a nice experience in the woods.

Army Imprints
While in the army his assignment was border patrol between Russia and Norway. Up there at the border it is very cold.
His skills were in observations, patrolling, and learning survival in cold weather. A soldier must have cold-weather skills to take care of oneself as well as fellow soldiers.
The army prepared Espen Lysø for real life.
EMERGENCY ROOM
Espen learned life skills in the army. Those skills prepared him for his work in the emergency room. His dream was to serve others. He's been a nurse and is going on four years. He loves this type of service and work. It’s not a routine so everyday is a new day for him.
But as busy as he is he still finds time to be in the outdoors. Even if it’s a walk with his dogs he is still getting out. It’s important for him to not stay in the house but to relax outside and reflect.

Espen Lysø met his soulmate Kine Leines Skår on the Tinder App which is a dating App.

Kine Leines Skår started mushing thirteen years ago at a school where she became an apprentice. Her work is to train dogs for several dog mushers in Norway. It was a dream of hers to train dogs. She followed that dream.
Furthermore training dogs for the Iditarod in Alaska became another dream.
Thirty dogs, another trainer and Kine went up into the far north of Norway to train for the Iditarod. Her dreams turned into goals. Those goals turned into reality.
Robert Sørlie, a Norwegian who won the Iditarod twice was Kine's inspiration for her dream.
Kine also worked for Lars Monsen. He is one of Norway’s dog mushing champions whom also competed in the Iditarod.
When training dogs she lives in a tent during all sorts of weather. She has no social life for many months while training the dogs.
Her relationship with Espen is important. But when the racing season begins in Norway she finds herself being pulled toward the dogs. She loves the dogs so much.
Kine Leines Skår has a tattoo. Gjør Drømmen is tattooed underneath it. She used a picture of her musher friend and her eight dogs for the tattoo. When Kine was only dreaming of this adventure she decided to get the tattoo to remind her of her dream.
She worked hard to reach her goals and dreams.
